she was shrouded in the coldest moon's silver.

I shivered in her shadow, from the moonlight in the window and dreamt of a summer in vain.

She lay broken on the bed, so I cradled her head,
and I never have felt so alone.
She looked with infinite eyes in search of grey skies, and winter crept in my bones.
